ITINERARY
Cave, Castle and stud farm

•Allow us to enchant you with the land of the most beautiful cave, travelling through with a train and you will look more than 5 kilometres of awe-inspiring passages, tunnels and spectacular halls. The tour around the cave starts at the entry platform of the unique Cave railway, where visitors' hustle and bustle is a common occurrence, especially during the summer. To start with, the cave train will take you through an artificial passage, followed by the first natural passage, which turned black as a result of petrol being destroyed during the Second World War. Next seen as part of the tour are two halls, first the Gothic Hall with numerous flowstone creations, followed by the Congress Hall (in the past known as the Dance Hall), which has for almost two centuries been a highly appealing venue for concerts and other events. The temperature inside the cave is constant. Regardless of the time of the year, it remains at around 10 degrees Celsius and both clothing and footwear should be adapted to it. It is possible to hire a warm cloak at the entrance to the Cave. No helmets are needed for cave tours.

• After that we will continue the trip to medieval Castle, has been perched up in front of 123 meters high cliff for more than 700 years. The undoubtedly most famous of all castle inhabitants was the knight Erazem of Predjama, who rebelled against the imperial autocracy in the 15th century. Nowadays Erazem is the main protagonist of numerous legends, which on the one hand glorify him as a passionate, handsome, noble knight, while on the other hand he is described as a bandit and a robber baron, who eventually breathed his last while in the toilet.

• The Lipica Stud Farm is one of the oldest stud farms in the world and it represents the origin of the Lipizzan horse. In a unique natural environment, in the middle of fairy meadows in the shade of oak and chestnut trees. Taking a walk on the Stud Farm estate is like travelling through history. The old manor house and the gracefulness of the Lipizzan horse will take you to the time when horse carriages were the most prominent way of transport. For more than 400 years the tradition of breeding these white horses has been preserved in the centre of the unique Karst landscape which today represents one of the most beautiful natural and cultural monuments in Slovenia.
